New Order Form for Secondary Jurisdiction Registered Agent Services

Many tax professionals, attorneys and individual clients work with Harvard Business Services, Inc. (HBS) daily to either form companies in another state or foreign qualify their Delaware company in another state. During the process, they will often inquire about how to get a Registered Agent in these jurisdictions. With the launch of our new secondary jurisdiction registered agent order form, we’re pleased to inform you that clients no longer have to wait to call during business hours to obtain these services by phone. You will now be able to place orders for Registered Agent services in different jurisdictions through your online account via our website.
For 15 plus years, HBS has offered secondary jurisdiction agent services to companies and the launch of this new platform will certainly speed-up the process for clients that wish to place orders in other states. Once each order is placed, you will receive an email containing the necessary information that corresponds to the state selected such as the affiliate Registered Agent address that you will need for your filings.
It’s important to note that the orders will need to be placed within your MyControlDesk Account through our website. If you need assistance with creating or accessing your MCD account through our website, feel free to contact our team directly as we will be happy to help!
Below are the steps clients will need to take in order to proceed with placing your new orders.
- Log into/Create your MCD Account.
- On the left side of the page, view the options under Company Maintenance (insert pic).
- Click ‘Registered Agent’ under the Company Maintenance heading.
- Click the link ‘Get Registered Agent service in other jurisdictions.’ (insert pic)
- Select the state(s) the service is needed for. (insert pic)
*Please note, if the company already has Registered Agent Services with HBS in other states, the checkbox will not be visible next to that specific state.
- Complete the payment process. (insert pic)
*The payment process can be completed using your stored payment method or you will be able to enter a new credit/debit card to complete the process.
The platform is a cart ordering system which means clients can complete one transaction to get a registered agent in multiple states at the same time.
We’re extremely excited to launch this new platform as HBS always continues to strive to make improvements to our ordering process so that the procedure is as stress free as possible for our clients.
